Lincoln Moss has a good life. Maybe he could wish for more personal success, but with a loving wife and two wonderful children, he couldn't ask for much more. But as it turns out, he's going to get it, because it turns out that his wife has been keeping something from him for seventeen years: she's actually one of the greatest supervillains on Earth! So I turned So I Married a Supervillain into the National Novel Writing Month project. And then I wrote 50,000 words for it. And now I'm posting chapters of it for you to read! Merry Xmas! This week, I bring to you the gift of Chapter 3 of my National Novel Writing Month story, So I Married a Supervillain. Link awakens in a very scary situation. And it's about to become much, much more scary. Lincoln Moss has had a rough day. Kidnapped, interrogated, and knocked out not once, but twice. And to think, it's not looking like things will be going uphill for him any time soon. Link finally comes face to face with the truth. Learning secrets about your loved ones is never easy, but how can he cope with one this big? Amanda explains to Link the complex relationship she has with her nemesis, The Philanthropist. Still trying to process Amanda's identity, Link now has to face another consequence: he is now King of a tyrannical monarchy. At least Chloe seems to be enjoying herself... An adorable interlude with the Princess and a less than adorable argument with the Prince. All is well in Megardia. A family outing for the new royal family leads Amanda to reveal how she came to be both Queen Maggedo and and Amanda Moss. It's the morning after the strangest day in Link Moss's life... up to this point. Link gets that promised look at the 'other side' of Amanda's world. Some people have to meet the inlaws, Link Moss has to meet his supervillain wife's supervillain friend's superHERO boyfriend. How can his life get any more complicated? Just you wait. Link and Amanda's meeting takes a turn for the unexpected--and potentially deadly. After what happened last chapter, Link needs to get this thoughts together. Unfortunately, trying to think brings on all new realizations to weigh on his mind. Part 1 (the part I wrote for NaNoWriMo 2012) of SIMaS is coming to a close with the family aftermath of last chapter. Stay tuned in a few months when the action heats up and Megardia finds itself once more in need of its beloved national Supervillain. It may be an hour late, but So I Married a Supervillain makes it triumphant return for Part II! Link visits his two favorite girls at work... Link gets a lesson in how things are done in Megardia--with minions. Amanda set off for battle while Link tries to act like he knows what he's doing. |

sooo was this dropped? So much potential… sadface.
It’s on hiatus until I have time to re-read part 1. I was repeating myself and going too far afield with the story.
